Opening Event – “Divisions & Their Remainders”
The opening of ICLO’s Calendar year and presentation of its Programme will commence with an eventitled: “Divisions and Their Remainders” to be held on 14th September.
The opening event will speak to the movement of people: Migra7on – natural and forced, refugees, exiles, strangers, speaking bodies, interroga7ng the psychoanaly7cal import of these signifiers.
It is proposed that the Opening event with invited guests from other discourses, sociology, psychology and academia, will discuss with ICLO -NLS members the regimes of jouissance(s) at play within socie7es and their bodies captured in discourse. The Lacanian orienta7on has something to say in rela7on to these maLers.
This event is open and free to those who would like to a4end in person.
